Mission Statement
To become a social and professional integration platform of the Full-Time, Executive, One MBA student bodies with Alumni and the corporate world by organizing regattas and sailing events which will strengthen the RSM Erasmus student & alumni network and reinforce the link with the corporate world.
Goals
- Strengthen the network of RSM’s student and alumni body
- Provide an informal but powerful instrument to bring together the corporate world with MBA students and alumni
- Create an environment whereby anyone – with or without experience – could participate and compete in sailing events and experience the positive pressure and the teamwork needed to win
- Share the passion for sailing
- Reinforce the status of the RSM Erasmus University as a leading business school
- Offer a unique opportunity to have a great time
Deliverables
- Compete in five regattas
- Host two cruises
- Provide access to lessons and racing clinics
- Host two social/networking events
History
The RSM Erasmus Sailing Club was founded in 2004 by a few MBA students. The club has continued with the outspoken and difficult mission to create an environment whereby RSM Alumni, Full-Time MBA, Executive MBA and OneMBA students could meet. Today the club has developed a number of key activities with strong national and international allure supported by a number of corporate sponsors.
