RSM Sailing Club welcomes you to the IE Regatta & Adventure 2023. This year, the 9th IE MBA Regatta will take place in Lanzarote’s Marina Puerto Calero. This year the emphasis of this event is more in racing sailing with J80 in the stunning warm winter location of Lanzarote. This year addition is that the accommodation will be by lovely villas at the Marina.
The Races
J80 is a fixed keel racing boat. It is easy and safe to sail and can reach 20 knots speed in downwind sail. Ideal crew is 5 people (Skipper, Mainsail Handler, Jibber and Mast man). The racing committee will provide Trac Trac GPS tracing.

Travel
We recommend you to arrive early on Thursday, October 12th.
Arrecife Airport (ACE) is located only 12 kilometers away from the Hotel Costa Calero in Puerto Calero, where are are going to be lodged during the event. A taxi should cost approx. 15 euros.
Accommodation
Accommodation is included in the ticket price. Hotel is 15 mins drive from Lanzarote airport and a 5 min walk from the marina. There is an option to purchase extra nights of lodgment if arrival is before the 12th of October.

- € 630 per person (€ 3,150 for a 5 person crew)
Included in the participation fee:
- 3 Nights of lodgment at the Hotel Costa Calero
- Double or Triple Superior Rooms (depending on availability)
- 2 days of sports activities (Regatta or Adventure)

Not included in the participation fee:
- Travel Costs (Flights, Taxis to and from the airport)
- Travel Insurance
- The drinks of the meals at the buffet dinners in the hotel and any drinks not included in specific activities
- Boat Deposit (for Regatta Tickets – Refundable)
- Extra nights of lodgment in the hotel
- Optional Sailing Training (for Regatta Tickets only) on Thursday (€ 200 per boat, 5 people)

Only MBA students/alumni can participate to the events organized or sponsored by the RSM Sailing Club.
If non MBA people buy tickets for the events, participation will not be allowed and the RSM Sailing Club will not refund the ticket.
