The event

It’s official! It’s the RSM Sailing Club’s 10th year of the biggest summer social event in the international MBA community. Join us for The RSM MBA Armada.

This event brings RSM MBA students & alumni together with other MBA networks for a sailing adventure through the Ionian Sea. Attendees of the RSM MBA Armada will network, bond and have fun in one of the most beautiful locations worldwide.

We’ll sail from island to island, admiring unbelievable landscapes and swimming in crystal-clear light blue waters in the Western islands of Greece. This week-long trip will include different islands, where you’ll be living in the rhythms of the unique Greek summer: exploring isolated beaches, mingling with locals and enjoying Mediterranean cuisine.

Friday, August 2nd
15:00 – Check in at Astor Hotel or nearby hotel
16:00 – Tour at Acropolis Area, Museum
20:30 – Dinner at Chocolate Royal Restaurant with panoramic view of Athens and Parthenon
€40 pp menu deal
23:00 – Cocktail party with night view at Acropolis in the hot spot of Athens at “360º”

Saturday, August 3rd
07:00 – Departure by bus from Astor Hotel, Athens
13:00 – Arrival at Lefkada
13:30 – 15:00 –  Boat check-in. Division of responsibilities, Groceries

17:00 – Arrival at Meganisi
17:00 – 20:00 – Swimming time

20:00 – 22:00 – Dinner at Greek Fish Tavern by the sea
22:00 onwards – Relaxing time at the beach

Tuesday, August 6th

10:00 – Departure for famous Navagio Shipwreck
10:30 – Arrival at Navagio Beach
10:30 – 13:30 – Swimming at Navagio Beach
14:00 – Departure for Argostoli and lunch on board

22:30 onwards – Party on the rocks!

Wednesday, August 7th

17:00 – 19:00 – Departure/Arrival for/at celebrities’ harbor of Fiskardo

21:00 – 23:00 – Dinner all together at a famous restaurant, where Steven Spielberg, Madonna, & Tom
Hanks enjoy their lobster pasta.

23:30 – Cocktails at the port bar or crawling around the narrow streets of the village

All day – Sailing/remaining at nearby beaches of Fiskardo

Friday, August 9th

10:30 – Departure for Lefkada (Porto Katsiki Beach)/ Lunch on board
14:00 – Arrival at Porto Katsiki beach
17:00 – Departure for Lefkada
19:00 – Arrival at Lefkada
20:00 – 21:00 – Showering
21:30 – Dinner and Party

Saturday August 10th
08:00 – 09:00 – Boat cleaning/ check out
09:00 – Bus departure for Athens
15:00 – Arrival at center of Athens
Rest of Day – Dinner and Party in Athens (anyone who wishes to join) or individual flight departures

Accommodation

Celebrations begin in Athens on Friday the 2nd & Departure by private bus is planned on Saturday morning the 3rd. We suggest you arrange for a hotel accordingly.

Boats

New boats provided as Category A Catamarans (built after 2018) and Category B Catamarans (built before 2017) for this year! Based on the demand, we will add more types of boats to make the event as big as possible. We will provide updates in upcoming months about the superb and luxurious boats we’re assembling.

Individual or coupled participants will be matched by the Sailing Club to the best possible accommodations based on their selected boat category.

*As we make travel arrangements, we would like to make sure that any solo attendees may be paired in a room with someone of the same gender, if requested. Therefore, it is important for us to have this information with ticket purchases.

Complete crews may also reach out for interest in a specific boat. If requests are available at the time of registration, we will do our best to make this happen.

Should you wish to pay via e-transfer directly on the RSM Sailing Club bank account, please before performing any transaction, please send us an email so that we can properly organize that.

If a bank payment is done without sending any email in advance, the RSM Sailing Club may reject the subscription.

The ticket is not refundable.
Only MBA students/alumni can participate to the events organized or sponsored by the RSM Sailing Club.

Our partner policy: Partners are welcome to the event, but we keep the maximum limit of 25% attendance for non-MBAs, as long as they are relatives to MBA participants. 

Tickets purchased by non-MBA members cannot be refunded! Please email us for any questions regarding this.
